Due to market expansions in Europe we are looking for a
“3D Mass Data” Technical Sales Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to overall revenue targets thanks to technical activities supporting the pre-sales process.
Activities to promote Topcon products through:
- technical contribution in presentations / demonstrations to key customers
- participation in trade shows, conferences and internal events
- developing the competency of staff within the distribution network with regard to selling new products and technology
- creating and maintaining appropriate material for use in the sales process
- preparing and delivering specialist training relating to products, workflows and emerging technologies
- maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant Topcon products to proactively identify action to increase adoption and therefore revenue
- actively maintaining information on competitors products and react with recommendations to marketing to minimize impact on Topcon’s market share
- participating and contributing to projects in other specialist areas of the Technical Sales Group
"3D Mass Data" Technical Sales Specialist Job Requirements
- a minimum of 5 years professional working experience in collecting and handling large 3D data sets from a variety of sensors.
- a good working knowledge of relevant software such as Autodesk products is critical
- working experience in another survey discipline e.g. GNSS or Optical Survey is important
- fully conversant and experienced in laser scanning technology
- a thorough understanding and experience of surveying practices
- strong interpersonal skills combined with strong writing ability
- strong time management skills and attention to detail
- effective communicator both verbally and through concise, relevant presentations
- fully proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently within teams with minimal supervision
- fluent in English (written and verbal). Additional language skills such as German, Dutch, Spanish or French would be an advantage
Resident within Europe and be prepared to travel within Europe for a minimum 60% of the work time.
