In this position you will initiate, drive and manage continuous improvement projects in the Build Operations organization to concrete and measurable results, with involvement and commitment of the shop floor. Facilitate, coach and support improvement projects to drive continuous improvements within the Build Operations processes.

Main responsibilities
- Drives (non-technical) sustainable continuous process improvements in TF BO-organization to achieve high impact results on critical business performance targets such as cycle time, quality, and cost;
- Act both as a project leader and as a project coach/ facilitator;
- Bring in continuous improvement knowledge (Lean, Six Sigma) to help build the TF-BO CI practice;
- Raise the overall level of knowledge and awareness of the TF-BO organization through demonstration by hands-on application of continuous improvement tools and concepts;
- Initiates new improvement initiatives within TF-BO, with line management, translating overall strategy and management goals into actions;
- Become one of the Go-To persons for the TF-BO organization with respect to continuous improvement;
- Act as a catalyst for bottom up improvement within TF-BO, stimulating creativity of the shop floor;
- Link management goals to knowledge, experience and by running improvement teams/projects;
Context of the position The sector Twinscan Factory is responsible for the production and installation of Twinscan systems, including planning and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The Build Operations mission is to build high-quality modules and systems in a safe production environment and deliver them to our customers on time.TF-BO consists of departments Assy (Assembly), FASY (Final Assembly), FLS (First Line Support), Motion and Continuous Improvement.The holder of this position reports to the Manager Continuous Improvement. The Continuous Improvement team consists of Business Engineers, Process Coordinators and Project Managers.
ASML - Projectleader Continuous Improvement Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in technical discipline or industrial/business engineering.Pre: Lean, 8D, Prince II
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in continuous Improvement/ World Class manufacturing;
- Project and program management experience;
- Improvement team facilitation, 8D method;
- ASML (production) environment (preferred);
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred);
- Lean (preferred)
