As a Certification specialist you working within the R & D department. You support and organizes certification processes. You are the contact for the R & D department in the field of constructions and their certification as applicable (international) regulations. In particular, they are given products to the North American market. The certifications relate regulations
of mechanical strength requirements, as defined in ASME standards.
You also have an advisory role in development and monitors herein the technical feasibility of the structures relation to relevant laws and regulations.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
· Applications and accompanying certification processes by inspection agencies (international), with emphasis on the North American Market (ASME / CRN).
· Keeping abreast of developments and changes in relevant regulations (EN, ASME).
· Prepare and manage documentation packages.
· Advise on product development processes concerning technical certification.
Your qualifications:
· Bachelor, technical training in mechanical engineering.
· Minimum 5 years experience in construction and strength calculation.
· Knowledge of strength-technical regulations. (Preferably knowledge of ASME).
· Willingness to (occasionally) travel to USA / Canada.
· Good command of English, spoken and written.
· Analytical, pragmatic, communicative and self standing.
