Design Engineer M/F Job Description

• Creation of Pump Layout.
• Preparation of manufacturing drawings and 3D models of pump components.
• Generation of Bill of Materials, to be integrated in our ERP system.
• Creation of General Arrangement and Sectional Drawings.
• Perform calculations supporting design activities following industry standards or other codes (pressure component thickness, bolting, etc.).
• Support Product Engineering department on R&D and standardization activities

Design Engineer M/F Job Requirements

• Bachelor Engineering degree or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of experience working as Design Engineer in the industry, preferably in rotating equipment like centrifugal pumps, steam turbines or compressors.
• Desirable experience on the design of high energy barrel type pumps.
• Computer Assisted Design tools (Autocad preferred).
• Mastery in 2D design. Desirable at least 3 year experience in 3D design.
• Desirable knowledge in Inventor or ProEngineer including parametric design.
• Deep knowledge of engineering tolerancing.
• Machining and different manufacturing methods knowledge.
• Desirable experience working in a Mechanical Shop environment.
• English language medium-high level.
• Availability to travel 5%-10% of time
