Technical Manager Offshore Cranes Job Description

Responsibilities/tasks

• Technical responsibility for product design and development, in line with client requirements and applicable rules & regulations.
• Responsible for engineering budget and timeline.
• Develop the products design and technology.
• Develop design requirements & criteria’s.
• Support sales with technical solutions, calculations and dimensioning for new products.
• Perform conceptual design studies for new projects and products.
• Execute functional analysis and design reviews.
• Recognize risks and variations, suggest solutions and report to the management.

Technical Manager Offshore Cranes Job Requirements

Your profile

• Masters of Science in Engineering, Mechanical, Marine, Structural, Automation or similar.
• Experience in developing offshore cranes and winches at senior level.
• Good knowledge of customer requirements for subsea cranes and offshore cranes.
• Knowledge of calculations for rotating machinery, gearboxes, rack and pinion transmissions etc.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel worldwide, occasionally.
