Your Responsibilities:
As Expert RF Technology Development, you will be working on QuBiC, the leading edge NXP BiCMOS platform, which enables an important fraction of its high performance RF business.
You will team up with design and system architects as well as marketeers to define the technology requirements to enable NXP products to lead the market. You will work together with technology and design teams to prototype and industrialize the new QuBiC technologies. You will be challenged to pro-actively conceive device and technology ideas that will enable new business opportunities and to concretely couple them to new products.
In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:
(1) Translate RF requirements of new products into device specification
• Understand product requirements together with technology and design teams, translate them into specifications for new devices, assess feasibility by simulations and silicon experiments
(2) Implement and release process flow technology
• Define the device and the process flow architecture, considering performance and volume manufacturing requirements; Release the process flow for volume production according to corporate release procedures
(3) Pro-active contribution to the QuBiC team
• Interact with the cross-organization teams to ensure all aspects of development and implementation are robustly covered; Learn from the team and share your knowledge with the organization
(4) Develop and deploy knowledge on RF devices and process
• Keep up to date with state of the art competition, understand future trends, benchmark and pro-actively propose solutions, have a broad view of all possible technology alternatives
Your Profile:
• University/PhD degree in technical discipline (electronics or physics)
• Several years of experience in device and technology development in BiCMOS area. You are recognized as expert or leader in the development of BiCMOS devices for RF applications both in your organization and externally
• Experience in process development and manufacturing. You are able to master the development of robust process flows to release for manufacturing, you understand the risks and the marginalities and define actions to mitigate them, you verify that product requirements are met in the entire process capability window
• You have a good network within the RF engineering community
• Good team working skills, good communication skills both verbal and written in English
