Team/Division Description:
The Electronics Engineering division is a.o. responsible for design and development of Powertrain Electronics Parts, Wire Harness and Vehicle Body Electronics parts and systems.
Your Responsibilities:
As a member of the Electronics Engineering team, you are responsible for the development of vehicle body electronics parts and systems (Instrument cluster, Body control switches and panels, Body Control ECUs…) and investigation of future trends in this area.
You act as project engineer responsible to develop the part/system in close collaboration with supplier and others divisions which are part of the system development.
Key responsibilities are:
- Definition of technical specifications of parts/systems, taking into account market demand, budget and technical limitations
- Study of components placement in the vehicle with CAD tools (e.g. CATIA)
- Design review with suppliers (FMEA) to assure parts meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Control suppliers for parts development schedule to meet vehicle development milestones
- Budget control, and investigation and implementation of cost reduction possibilities.
- Coordination with validation teams to ensure system performance at a vehicle level

Your Profile:
Electronics or Electro-mechanical Engineering degree
3 years experience in Automotive or aircraft area
We also welcome young graduates with maximum 18 months of experience
Understanding of hardware/software/mechanical aspects of automotive components
Ability for CAD systems (CATIA V5 is an asset)
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivator
Team worker and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Excellent communication skills
Fluent English; other European language or Japanese is an asset
Ability to travel (Up to 10%)
