Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Process Integration Engineer you define, develop and implement GaN-on-Silicon process technology for manufacture of discrete power devices. You will be responsible for design rule definition, device architecture, process flow implementation, process module development, electrical characterization, and technology qualification for new GaN-on-Silicon technology developments.
• Create process flows with process specifications including process failure mode and effect analysis;
• Define device architecture and technology design rules;
• Define test structures for process integration and process module development;
• Design statistical experiments and analyze results to optimize device architecture and/or process modules;
• Coordinate process unit and process module development;
• Drive process and device optimization.
Your Profile:
Suitable candidates will have a MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field, and 3+ years of directly related experience. Prior experience with Power Discrete technologies is preferred.
This job further requires:
• Experience in one or more of the following engineering disciplines: Process Integration, Design, Electrical Characterization, Semiconductor Reliability, and/or Process Engineering;
• Knowledge of III-V and compound semiconductors, their materials, process and electronic properties;
• Hands-on experience in cleanroom work;
• Solid understanding of physical analysis techniques;
• Ability to utilize DOE and statistical analysis is required;
• Ability to characterize a process modules and device performance with test analyzer equipment;
• Knowledge of device and process simulations, TCAD desired;
• Proven problem solving ability;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Drive, pro-active attitude, critical mindset and effective team player.
