Automotive Resident Engineer (Body Development) Job Description

• Provide a single local interface and on-site support between the
  supplier and customer in Cologne
• Support development of automotive body modules through the
  complete life cycle
• Build up close working/personal relationship to the decision makers
  within the customer organization
• Understand the supplier and customer processes, recognize
  potential blocking points for releases and find ways to proceed
• Organize and support releasing, development and test activities at
  customer locations as required
• Support any project meeting with the supplier & customer and
  provided regular feedback
• Participation, organization and preparation of project meetings with
  customer
• Participating in regular weekly internal supplier meetings within
  commercial & development team

Automotive Resident Engineer (Body Development) Job Requirements

• Five years automotive component manufacturing or development
  experience
• Excellent communication skills with senior management
• Good understanding of automotive body engineering
• Ability to resolve problems
• Self manage personal workloads
• Act independently and proactive
• Support management and project team reviews
• Travel within the EU will be required
