Your challenge!
Als Plant Support Manager you ensure effectiveness and efficiency of work processes aiming for high plant performance using superior performance analysis techniques and advanced and efficient working methods. Your report to the Production Manager.
Your responsibilities
You give daily support to the plant operations team by leading problem resolution processes (RCA’s, Kaizen) and you play a key interface role to the project organization as a receiving party by making sure that DSM standards on SHE, Hygiene & Food Safety and performance are met. Facilitate the daily improvement cycle by using a LEAN approach.
• Manage the Plant Support Team (2-3 academic plant performance engineers)
Manage compliance in the department Implement the relevant DFS policies & guidelines (which are supporting the DSM Values and Requirements) and respect local legislation
• Manage the asset utilization (OEE), reliability, Operate Plant Normal (improvement) (which is supported by the corporate Manufex program).
• Create a culture oriented on the Lean principles
• Take active part to the site’s Process Safety Life Cycle
• Put KPIs in place to monitor the integral performance of the plant and the effectiveness of the work processes. Review them on a regular basis
• Execute and partly manage defined SHE and Q policies (e.g. risk assessments – internal audits)
Your profile
• Master Degree in food process technology, with proven experience in fermentation and/or downstream processes.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• People & project Management
• Lean/Six-Sigma/TPM principle
• Manufex work processes
• Process technology
• Process safety
• Quality control
• Speaking Dutch fluently is essential for this position.
