SOFTWARE ENGINEER (M / F) Job Description

The focus of our work at the site in Ilmenau on the development and testing of communication and navigation devices, efficient methods of measurement for different applications and the modeling and characterization of communication channels. In particular, we operate a unique in its kind measuring system for the characterization and analysis of satellite communication systems. The tests on the range of physical parameters of the antennas to the analysis of entire satellite networks. In current projects, our research activities on new mobile satellite communication networks in the Ka-band and are looking for additional support for our team.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER (M / F) Job Requirements

Your Requirements:

• Qualification in Software Engineering (OOP - Object Oriented Programming)
• Expertise in C / C ++, the design of user interfaces and the ISO / OSI layer model
• Experience in the hardware control and automation
• Optional knowledge in: Qt4.x, MATLAB, Telecommunications, Quality of Service (QoS), UNIX / LINUX, network protocols (eg SOAP, SNMP.), Project acquisition
• Fluent German and English
