Senior Software Test Engineer (m/w) Job Description
Fyte's client is working in the financial sector on global basis and is looking for an:
Testing Engineer/ Senior Software Test Engineer (m/w)
Must have:
- Collaborate daily with product software engineers and architects to design automated tests for actively developed product features
- Design and implement robust, repeatable automated test.
- Create and execute manual test cases
- Drive good product design by following standard industry practices
- Regression, exploratory, security, and compatibility testing
- Performance, volume and load testing
- Manage all aspects of defect tracking for a team
- Install and maintain multiple testing environments
- Work closely with customer support to properly qualify, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues reported by customers.
Senior Software Test Engineer (m/w) Job Requirements
Nice to have:
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years' experience testing applications on a windows platform
- Experience in test automation
- Experience with Unicode and localization coding practices is a plus
- Experience with various testing tools
- A working knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus
- Experience in web application testing is a plus
- Strong experience in OOD and programming including full software development life cycle
You should be a highly motivated, problem solving and independent working self starter and hit the ground running. Must be willing to learn independently and be willing to solve problems. You demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and execute all responsibilities with trustworthiness, integrity, and a strong work ethic. You should be able to communicate in English (verbal and written) confidently.
