ASML - FA Financial Analyst Treasury Job Description
The financial analyst Treasury is responsible to ensure accurate and complete execution of payments, processing of bank statements and accounting of financial instruments. Furthermore the financial analyst Treasury reports on a daily basis on the execution of the treasury activities. The analyst continuously tries to increase the efficiency in the current processes.
Job Description
Together with your colleagues you are responsible for:
- Accurate and complete execution of payments and processing of bank statements;
- Accurate and complete accounting of financial instruments;
- Monthly reconciliations between treasury management system (front office) and financial system (back office) as part of the period end closing activities;
- Ensure compliance with hedge accounting and hedge accounting effectiveness tests;
- Monitoring and reporting on the execution of treasury activities within the Treasury Policies;
- Bank authorization maintenance;
- Ensure SOX compliant accounting process;
- Co-operation with treasury Front Office department.
Context of the position The FA Consolidation and Reporting department is part of the finance organization. The finance organization is responsible for providing business support, performance measurement and planning, internal controls and compliance, internal administrative processes, tax and treasury.The financial analyst Treasury reports to the Treasury Controller. The team interacts with various other Finance departments, e.g. Management accounting, Sales accounting, Salary and Benefits Administration, Tax and Treasury. In addition, the team interacts with external parties, e.g. banks, (tax) auditors and European administration offices.
ASML - FA Financial Analyst Treasury Job Requirements
Academic degree in Business Economics. Fluent in DUTCH and ENGLISH.
Experience
Required:
- Between 0 and max. 1 year working experience in a comparable positions, incl. team management;
- Significant knowledge of Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience with accounting for financial instruments;
- SAP;
- Experience with US GAAP and IFRS.
Personal skills - Good analytical, communicative and social skills. A professional and ambitious attitude;
- Result oriented team player with a big sense of responsibility;
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting processes, including how such processes are supported by highly automated solutions;
- Strong communication-, organizational- and structuring skills;
- Capable of co-working with team members while maintaining higher level overview;
- Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas.
