For our office in Beuningen (Gelderland) we are looking for a:

Senior Service Engineer Mechatronics

The overall responsibilities and activities contain:

• Troubleshooting of complex and/or recurring machine performance issues, escalated to 2nd line Service Engineers 1st Line Service Support;
• Execution of installation, calibration, maintenance and field change orders of ASM Laser Separation's equipment at customer's site and required coordination thereof;
• Execute complex upgrades to meet compliance of system requirements of installed base;
• Remarking (structural) system design threats/opportunities, analyzing the machine loggings and settings and resolving them. When needed by involving other disciplines (Mechatronics, Software, Optics, Laser Development) or reporting to product development disciplines;
• Remarking safety issues and reporting them;
• Supporting 1st line Service Engineers when requested by Partner Service Agency with technical advises;
• Training of operators and 1st line Service Support Defining and maintaining of Service tools;
• Documenting of system modifications, failures  and write Service bulletins;
• Auditing the performance of the system, when requested by a customer in terms of defining MTBF and MTTR.

Senior Service Engineer Mechatronics Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred;
• Relevant working experience in international (semiconductor) service support (5+ years), especially optics, mechatronics, handling systems;
• Basic knowledge of embedded software; preferably with Borland C++, Python, Mathlab Simulink and/or Realtime Workshop;
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel, preferable of Visual Basic and of Database systems;
• Excellent hands on and analytical skills;
• Good language capability in English. Language capability in German preferred;
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time per year;
• Good communicator and team worker;
• Customer driven attitude;
• Proactive and enthusiastic personality.
