Your job
You are responsible for several global supply chain and processes, and driving logistic innovations or improvement projects.
You define supply chain designs and processes, and cooperate with stakeholders to make sure these are implemented successfully. During product development you influence Research & Development on supply chain requirements and with Procurement you select the best in class suppliers, all to realize an optimal logistic flow ensuring materials and parts are available at the right time, with the right quality and against appropriate costs. Moreover you define and realize supply chain business processes ensuring product availability to Canon Supply Chain Organizations against agreed business policies.
On top of this you identify, drive and deliver complex supply chain improvement projects, like optimizing business processes, aligning policies with Canon or improving inventory turnover. You redesign and improve processes; align demand planning, inventory and supply policies. Together with external suppliers you assure changes or improvements are translated into solutions.

Who are we looking for?
• You have a Master degree Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or comparable
• You recently graduated, and you have working, project or internship experience related to supply chain/logistics. It is a plus if you have worked in projects and/or have experience with leading a team. You are looking for a versatile job, with responsibility for entire supply chains
• Or you have a couple of years relevant working experience in within supply chain planning or projects and you are looking for a next step where you are responsible for complex supply chains during the entire lifecycle of a product. Experience in a technical environment is preferred.
• (Proven) knowledge of SAP
• You are strong in influencing, convincing and motivating internal and external stakeholders, and you have a drive for results
• You are a team player with strong planning and problem solving skills, and a pro-active attitude
• Excellent communication skills in English – verbal and written. Profound knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Recide in the Netherlands
Context of the position
Within Manufacturing & Logistics organization in Venlo all supply chain disciplines are organized, think of planning and inventory control, spare parts and reverse logistics. With your team you take care of the logistic concepts and processes around the production and distribution of Océ printing systems and related products like toners / inks and spare parts. Together you work over different Océ-sites, aligning supply chain processes, ensuring availability of products worldwide for the Canon Sales Regions and customers.
