Global Packaging Development Specialist Job Description
- You will lead execution of feasibility, development and first implementation of consumer and technical (quality, value engineering …) innovative packaging projects. You will also identify, scope and confirm technical innovation projects with potential global application.
You will act as a business and technical link between Global Packaging and Zone Packaging Teams, other Global Supply organizations, Global Innovation organization, suppliers and other external partners.

What does AB Inbev require of a Global Packaging Development Specialist:
EDUCATION: University technical degree or equivalent in Packaging Technology, Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biology, Agronomy. Additional technical & business oriented qualifications are an asset.
TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Relevant experience in packaging (not plastics but metal or bottling)
- Technical expertise in packaging
- Profound technical expertise in science & technologies associated with Packaging Development
- Clear and detailed understanding of packaging processes and their implications on the development of new products and processes
- General commercial and financial understanding
- Knowledge and experience with problem solving tools
MANAGERIAL SKILLS and COMPETENCIES: - Fluent in English
- Successful experience in project management of product and process development & implementation
- Ability for consumer understanding and capable of extracting technical solutions from commercial needs
- Clear and detailed understanding of key business parameters
- Leadership skills and ability to impact and influence to move things forward
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
