Technical Specialist - Hydroprocessing Unit Design
The CFT Application Technology group prepares unit designs and yield estimates for new and revamp hydroprocessing projects. The group interfaces with commercial project managers to prepare competitive unit designs. The vacancy is for our office located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Your formula for success:
• Preparation of unit designs and yield estimates for new and revamped hydroprocessing projects
• Technical negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders to optimize unit design and related catalyst offerings
• Contribute to development of new tools and techniques to improve yield estimate efficiency/accuracy
• Review catalyst performance data for the design and revamp of hydroprocessing units
• Assist other CFT technical specialists with unit design experiences
Elements in your background:
• 5-10 years’ experience in engineering and/or technology, preferably in the field of Refining, specifically Hydroprocessing technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years cumulative experience in 2 or more of the following areas:
- Refinery (Operations, R&D, Process Development or Licensing)
- Catalyst (Manufacturing, R&D, Technical Service/Applications)
- Engineering (Design, Projects)
• Master degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• An inquiring, flexible and service minded attitude.
• Full mastery of written and spoken English, second language is an asset.
