SENIOR ADVISOR / SPECIALIST COMPOSITES Job Description

• Identify customer needs (worldwide), together with the marketing team and translate them into innovative solutions.
• Provide advice to customers on composite product innovations.
• Generate conceptual structural designs to help customers optimizing their designs.
• Manage projects by coaching junior engineers/advisors.
• Perform and validate mechanical and processing CAE analysis to enhance customer confidence in the new composite materials.
• Generate and support customers with advanced material engineering data.
• Guide customers during prototyping and testing.
• Contribute to improving the predictive engineering capability and stay leading in new application development

SENIOR ADVISOR / SPECIALIST COMPOSITES Job Requirements

• Master/PhD degree, preferably in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of (fiber-reinforced) composites.
• Knowledge of finite element modelling.
• Knowledge of design engineering.
• Experience in defining and carrying out projects.
• Experience in automotive or consumer electronics industry is an advantage. 
• Proficiency in English language.
• Open to international travel.
• Willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
