Sales Project Engineer Job Description

The main responsibilities of a Sales Project Engineer are:

• As a Sales Project Engineer you will be responsible for providing solutions for the extraction and filtering of dust, fumes or gases which are released in various industrial processes and applications.
• You are the point of contact for our customers, gain insights into problems, listen to the needs of the client and provide an appropriate technical solution.
• The solution that you offer not only comes through your own creativity, knowledge and experience, but also by working closely with our commercial department, our technical service and our experienced product specialists there.
• You translate the solution into an offer, discuss it with the customer, follow up and make adjustments where necessary achieve cooperation agreements. You are also responsible for achieving business goals.
• As a Sales Project Engineer you develop and monitor the quality of the Nederman solutions offered to monitor the project, building long-term partnerships with both existing and new customers to your tasks.
• Of course you are also looking for new opportunities in the Belgian market.

Sales Project Engineer Job Requirements

What does Nederman require of a Sales Project Engineer:

• You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences or equivalent experience.
• You have at least 3 years of technical and commercial experience in an industrial environment with installation techniques, which is an absolute must.
• Knowledge in the field of industrial dust treatment is an asset.
• You have  very good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and CAD software.
• As a Sales Project Engineer you are bilingual Dutch and French, but you also speak English.
• You are organized and have a sense of initiative and responsibility.
• You have good communication skills, are entrepreneurial, proactive thinking and of course commercial.
