Internal Sales Job Description

What are the main responsibilities of an Internal Sales:

 
This role is focused on 2 primary accountabilities: sales support and order handling for existing and newly appointed customers, in Defense, Clean Solutions, Strategic Accounts and Industrial Hydraulics. These customers are spread all over EMENA :

• Handling and maximizing all complex incoming and outgoing customer communication to understand customer needs and utilize that knowledge to secure business and to give high quality service to the assigned customers.
• Support the team when it comes to gather Market Intelligence.
• Help/facilitate/finalizing quotation requests in preparation for the sales manager to provide final pricing i.e. complete cross referencing/coordinate with AMBD department to increase speed of answering quotes/prepare cost overviews, price lists, analysis…
• This role has a very diverse set of actions/interactions both internally as externally with customers in the region as well with Donaldson overseas facilities.
• We have a drive to reach new levels of sales in this business unit and are looking for a person with drive/enthusiasm and energy to be part of / build the success wave we are on.
• Processing customer orders and ensuring effective support and service for the assigned customers.

Internal Sales Job Requirements

What does Donaldson require of Internal Sales:

• You have a higher education with administrative and/or commercial orientation.
• You have 2-4 years of experience in sales support/inside sales/export customers.
• You are a self-starter and well organized.
• Fluent in English, German and French. Spanish and Italian are an asset.
• Fluent in JDE.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office packages.
• Good knowledge of APD processes.
