Senior Electrical Engineer Oil & Gas Job Description

For one of our clients, an engineering firm specialized in industry, infrastructure and Oil & Gas, we are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. As an Electrical Engineer you will coordinate and compose all design documents in your field of expertise. You are able to make (material) specifications and calculations. You will carry out studies and will also evaluate the suppliers’ documents. Making low and medium voltage calculations, load study and short-circuit calculations. In different projects you will "manage" a team of junior Electrical Engineers. 

You will become responsible for engineering, design and review of projects for factories, installations and the oil & gas sector. The projects may be diverse, but the main focus will be to develop large projects where you will cooperate with colleagues form mechanical and process. An overall view or broad experience will be beneficial.

Desired Skills and Experience

• BSc.or MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering;
• At least 8 years’ experience in a similar position in the chemical / petrochemical / Oil & Gas field;
• Good leadership and communication skills;
• Able to manage and teach you colleagues;
• Flexibility, customer focused and attention to quality and details.
