Senior Engineer Instrumentation, Automation and Process Control Job Description

Our client is an international, multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy firm, which over the years has been specializing in on-site as well as in-house engineering of multidisciplinary projects from conceptual design to validation. Main focus of the company is the Industry, Energy and the Oil & Gas sector. For several positions within this company we are currently looking for experienced Engineers Instrumentation & Process Control.

Tasks and responsibilities
You will be working within a department surrounded by many specialists on your area of expertise; controls, instrumentation and electrical engineering. The project will vary from the simple basic engineering to a multidisciplinary international project with colleagues from all over the world. You will accompany a project manager and will give guidance to several more junior Engineers. These activities will lead to an electro technical design that meets the certified requirements and specifications of the project or tender.  Projects will mainly be new build or refurbishment of installations in the process- or oil & gas industry.   Other key responsibilities:

• Developing technical documents as specifications, manuals and tenders, evaluation of tenders;
• Communication with suppliers & clients;
• Quality control and progress control.

Senior Engineer Instrumentation, Automation and Process Control Job Requirements

Experience and requirements
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with related courses (Instrumentation, Measurement and Control);
• At least 8 years work experience in the process- and/or oil & gas industry;
• Affinity with Electrical and Automation is an advantage;
• Team player with extensive experience in project management;
• Fluent in English both written and oral, willingness to learn Dutch is an asset;
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Convincing and result oriented, with a high level of adaptability;
• Client focused, communicative and a good team-player.
