Lead Process Engineer Oil & Gas Job Description

Our client is a large international engineering company active in the design, construction and maintenance of complex oil & gas projects in the energy sector. For the Process Department of one of their offices in the Netherlands, specializing in the design and engineering Offshore platforms,oil & gas, Storage projects and FPSO's we are looking for a senior engineer.   Responsibilities:

• Review all process design and engineering documents;
• Review and correct the design and contract information;
• Clarifiy of ambiguous information via the project and proposal organization;
• Prepare heat and material balances, process simulation, equipment sizing;
• Calculation of mass and heat balances;
• Calculation of specific process equipment, like valves, meters and instruments;
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrument Diagrams and Hazard & Operatability studies.

Lead Process Engineer Oil & Gas Job Requirements

Desired skills and experience
 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
• At least 10 years experience as a Process Engineer in the Oil & Gas, chemical or refinery;
• Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written is a must. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage;
• Self-starter, able to function independently, but also in a project team;
• Flexible, analytic and quality driven.
