The role as Powertrain Design Engineer will be based in Essex, this opportunity is working with a leading automotive powertrain business on site for an automotive OEM for 6-12 month rolling contract. If you feel you have the following experience please do not hesitate to apply.
As the Powertrain Design Engineer you will perform concept studies and detailed component design, modelling and drawings. Document design studies with MS Office tools, and present at team meetings. Liaise with component engineer and other designers to resolve design conflicts. Assist component engineer in relaying design intent to suppliers.
The ideal Powertrain Design Engineer:
. Powertrain design experience.
. Catia V5 modelling and drafting experience.
. Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and their various design requirements.
. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
. Ford Teamcenter experience preferable.
