Engine Calibration Engineer Job Description

As an Engine Calibration Engineer with a leading automotive consultancy, your role will be to identify and fix issues related to engine on-board diagnostics in order to simultaneously reduce warranty spend and increase customer satisfaction with company products.  Applicants require a background of INCA and ATI.
 

Engine Calibration Engineer responsibilities include:
 

• Using internal quality systems to identify issues and define potential root causes.
• Performing vehicle testing to collect data for analysis.
• Developing and validating calibration fixes.
• Ensure dealerships have the necessary information to identify and fix issues efficiently.
• Setup of dataloggers for use on customer vehicles.
• Off-site visits to dealerships to assist with issue resolution.

Essential Skills & Experience include:
 

• Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
• ATI and INCA
• Matlab
• Project planning skills
• Inter-personal and communication skills
• Good Excel knowledge
