The role
You will be working within the department Piping & Mechanical Engineering. This department mainly focusses on making studies and the design and specification of piping and equipment for process installations. This is usually done in collaboration with other disciplines. Your will be involved in the process of mechanical engineering, as divers as can it can be. Part of your job is to make strength and flexibility calculations of pressure equipment and piping according to (inter)national standards like EN, RToD and ASME. You set classification lists according to RToD and Pressure Equipment Directive and you stay closely aligned with inspection bodies as NoBo and AKI. Additionally, you will work closely with the client and with colleagues of other disciplines.
You have a thorough knowledge of materials. You know what the Pressure Equipment Directive entails and you have experience with software like Caesar II and Nozzle Pro. You are also customizable: for your clients you always want the best result.
- At least BSc Mechanical Engineering
- At least five years experience as a Stress Engineer
