Senior Vision Engineer (PhD or MSc)
Job description
Our client develops custom measurement and inspection systems for customers in automotive, semiconductor industry, and life sciences. In Eindhoven we are looking for an experienced all-round sr machine vision engineer with entrepreneurial qualities. The candidate is considered with a high degree of autonomy and visits one day per week location Oldenzaal for coordination of activities with colleagues and discussing projects.
Activities include:
- Translation of customer requirements into system requirements
- Proof-of-concept of customer-specific measuring systems
- Programming vision algorithms
- Prototyping and Realize machine vision systems
- Active contribution to acquisition and account management
- Writing and reviewing design documentation
- Communicating specifications to customers and suppliers
Work on designing and implementing include:
- Surface inspection systems
- 3D measuring systems
- Highly accurate positioning systems
Education
Applied physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related. Extended (at least 12 years) working experience in machine/computer vision or related industry (e.g. industrial vision inspection for production and assembly, (optical) measurement systems in machine construction, medical imaging or photometry).
Candidate should be familiar with machine vision, cameras and interfaces, Matlab, Halcon, Labview, C, C #, Open CV, project management.
Languages ​​required: English and Dutch (or willing to learn Dutch). Profile: communicative, result driven (pragmatic), system thinker.
