The Senior Solutions Support Engineer is responsible for resolving product, configuration,
and application issues/questions for industrial automation, control, and operations
management software. The Senior Solutions Support Engineer is responsible for fielding
issues/questions through direct telephone support, email, or web based call tracking systems.
Senior Solutions Support Engineer Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years design/application/support experience withs software or equivalent experience supporting complex software applications and installations.
- Strong SQL & VBscript Background (Able to understand logic in order to debug/isolate issues in custom code)
- Exceptional ability to rapidly diagnose, reproduce and solve complex customer problems.
- Strong domain and application knowledge, particularly in the areas of manufacturing automation, control, and analytics
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills. Ability to organize and execute on multiple high priority situations simultaneously.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, customer service and analytical skills.
- Sets an example in terms of quality, consistency and level of work, as well as work ethic and approach.
- Positive attitude when dealing with customers and co-workers.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering; a two-year degree or extensive Technical Support background considered with appropriate experience.
- Travel (infrequent) to customer sites may be required to diagnose and resolve urgent issues
