Review, recommend and implement improvements in utilisation of personnel, processes, equipment and materials across ADC UK Operations. Create and maintain process, capacity and materials standards for ADC UK Operations.
- Through knowledge and Lean Sigma tools identify and deliver improvements to reduce waste, improve process, system performance and material usage.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement projects, working cross functionally to implement changes that deliver savings across the business.
- Recommend and develop manufacturing methods and tools that support and promote improvements in the utilisation of people, processes, materials and utilities.
- Establish, set and maintain process and material standards and the capacity book, measuring performance to plan.
- Analyse, monitor and report material usage, manufacturing shift and process performance to standards.
- Highlight deviations, delivering solutions to address unfavourable variances and identifying, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators.
- Analyse capacity requirements to achieve SIOP and the LRP, propose labour and equipment resources to achieve business plans.
- Produce effective mangement tools, models and presentations that support scenario planning.
- Provide critical appraisal of operational capital investments, to include writing business case and RCE's.
- Support the introduction and intergration of new equipment, processes and products.
- Establish product and material flow processes which create effective delivery of production schedules for existing and new products and processes.
Maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP), act as site coordinator, updating plan with business and product changes/new product introductions and organise and lead Site BCP tabletop exercise and complete follow up activities. Establish effective communication and build partnerships with all functional areas across operations, providing linkage to customers, suppliers, and other process areas.
