Field Representative Job Description

Commissioning, testing and handover of electrotechnical installations. Work is done in a team or independently, in the Netherlands and abroad
Fault finding and problem solving in case of failure; advice to customer on improvements and prevention
Maintenance of the installations
Analysis of functional and technical project specifications
Testing of the system configuration
Preparation of test protocols
Support and training of operational and technical customer personnel
Visual and technical inspection and testing according to official requirements; completion and preparation of acceptance protocols and reports
Investigation and support in case of irregularities in products, systems or installations
Setting and adjustment of the control system of complex installations on board of ships
Acting as an ambassador for the Imtech Marine
Recognising work-related sales opportunities

Field Representative Job Requirements

Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, generators and technical aspects, both hardware and software, of control systems
Working experience with PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley/ Rockwell en Siemens/ S7), Power Management Systems (e.g. Praxis, Gensys), high voltage (o.a. IMESA) and drives (e.g.Vacon, Ansaldo)
Good knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux
Affinity with/knowledge of integrated bridge systems and navigation- and communication tools
