In order to strengthen our business and focus on our customers, we are looking for a Research Metallurgist - Minerals Processing Operations Support.

S/He will a part of the Minerals Processing Research Group to support our Operations and Maintenance business area. Research Metallurgist will report to O&M Operations Head at Services business area as well as to the Head of Minerals Processing Research Group at Non-Ferrous Solutions business area. The location will be in Pori, Finland.

As Research Metallurgist – Minerals Processing Operations Support, you will:

• Be responsible for laboratory and pilot plant scale testwork
• Evaluate and optimize processes
• Process modeling and simulation
• Design mineral beneficiation process
• Participate in mineral processing services R&D projects
• Support sales as a mineral processing expert
• Support Operation and Maintenance activities on-site
• Prepare, present and report client studies

RESEARCH METALLURGIST – MINERALS PROCESSING OPERATIONS SUPPORT Job Requirements

To succeed, you will need:

• Experience with appropriate qualifications in minerals processing or related fields
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to multi-task and work independently on several parallel projects
• Willingness to support operations on-site
• Ability to travel and willingness to cooperate with a team of professionals in different countries
• Creative problem identification, conceptualization and analytical thinking skills
• Good ability to write technical and scientific documentation in English
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work and be effective in a matrix organization
