This position is located within our Business Unit Automotive – Product Line CAI. The PL CAI (Car Access and Immobilizers) focuses on Immobilizers, Keyless Entry/Go and RF-Link products.

The minimum salary for this position amounts to € 45.000,- gross per year. Higher payment is possible with higher qualification and/or longer work experience.

Your Responsibilities: 

Digital design (State-machines, microprocessor subsystems, memory interfaces, peripherals)

• basic know how in digital signal processing & Matlab model generation
• IP Block Level design 
• FPGA prototyping

• Digital synchronous design principles 
• basics in interfaces and on IC bus-systems
• IP integration and sub-system simulation
• signal processing basics (FFT, filter design)

• Digital synthesis 
• Digital verification and test-insertion 
• Basic µC Architecture 
• Assembler and C programming of embedded µC’s

Digital Design Engineer (FPGAs) - Automotive (m/f) Job Requirements

Your Profile: 

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar study
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in Digital IC Design 
• High level digital description languages (Verilog preferred) 
• Strong system simulation languages and tools (Matlab & Simulink) 
• Experience with FPGAs
• Eager to learn 
• Being able to take or improve existing solutions 
• Very good English skills (oral & written) 
• German skills or willing to learn German
