TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER - BEVERAGES (Montpellier) Job Description

For our Commercial Development team in Natural Color Division, we are looking for a Technical Support Manager to be based in Montpellier, France
 
This is due to our continued outstanding growth and our wish to further strengthen the Commercial Development team.
Commercial Development is responsible for strategic marketing and business development of natural colors to the food and dietary supplement industry globally.
We are a growing team of committed employees working in Danemark, France and Singapore, we all have a broad international interface, internally as well as externally.
 
Your tasks
Technical Support Manager (TSM) should act as a key interface in between Global Expertise Centers, Product Management and Customers to support the Sales Force to implement new products and/or customization, to secure key technical projects with Beverages Accounts.

• Support Global Sales team as a technical beverages expert.
• Ensure follow up for technical projects with focus customers (visits, define technical needs, contribute to develop and implement solutions)
• Contribute to new concept creation with Beverages team and Sales team
• Contribute to new product launches support and develop new sale tools.
• Contribute to Chr Hansen Beverages expertise development (feed backs, objective analyses , training and sharing relevant knowledge across teams)
• Participate to solve technical issues and complaints from focus customers
• Secure production troubleshooting at customer facilities

TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER - BEVERAGES (Montpellier) Job Requirements

Your personal profile
You have a passion for and experience in the Food Industry

• with Beverage 5 years as minimum
• You hold a BSc as minimum in Food Sciences, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• Confident, entrepreneurial, intuitive and innovative spirit.
• You have excellent communication skills – easy to interact with customers, listening, interpretation of needs, ability to synthesize and reporting.
• You have excellent skills in both written and spoken English
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally (in excess of 70 days per year)
