Embedded Software Engineer Job Requirements

Desired skills

• Good understanding of embedded programming concepts: interrupt handling, DMA, memory mapped I/O, user / kernel modes, physical / virtual memory, power management
• Knowledge of downloading, configuring, building and debugging Linux kernel source on embedded devices
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Nucleus, RTOS, or “bare metal” systems
• Experience with system on chip (SoC)
