Our Technology Division undertakes the development of innovative new products and equipment from concept through to full production, often incorporating considerable technical challenges. As the next phase of our strategic growth begins, an opportunity has been created within our multi-disciplinary Software Engineering Team based in our Cambridge Technology Centre.
The Role :
The Software Engineering Team develops software using agile methodologies for embedded devices and PC applications for instrumentation, measurement and control systems. We are looking to recruit innovative, adaptable and talented individuals with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
The Person :
With a degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent, you will be responsible for developing embedded control systems for Elektron’s nano-positioning products that are used in diverse applications such as microscopy, telescopy opto-electronics, semiconductor manufacture, robotic surgery, astronomy, defence and space, and hard disk drive testing.
