Job Description:
The position will report to the Technical Manager and the main responsibilities will include:
Preferred Skills:
As a successful candidate, you will hold an honours degree in metallurgy/corrosion science as a minimum qualification with demonstrable knowledge of structure/property relationships of ferrous materials, and specifically with regard to environmental degradation processes in saline environments and sour service applications.
Strong customer focus, a team player ethic and a positive disposition to learning in a challenging environment is essential.
We are looking for a self-motivated person with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy work environment. You will be expected to possess excellent verbal communication skills as well as the ability to present clear and concise technical reports, delivered on time and to client requirements.
Diligence, accuracy and an eye for detail are pre-requisites for the successful applicant.
