We are looking for a specialist with a strong personality who can inspire and motivate others to think about quality from the market’s perspective. Your work will extend across all of Domo’s facilities: 5 production plants in The Netherlands and one in the USA. In addition, you will have the flexibility to undertake two to three short, international business trips per month to visit our suppliers. - You will work together with various parties towards ensuring and optimizing the quality of the raw materials.
- Actively pursue a food safety and quality policy: a policy which you will expand upon, and which extends beyond simply complying with the relevant standards on paper, and a policy that illustrates what quality means for FrieslandCampina products.
- Translate quality systems into a ‘quality experience’ within our company.
- Invite internal and external contacts to join you in exploring possibilities for structural improvements.
We source the raw materials and packaging materials used to manufacture our Domo products from suppliers around the world. As a Raw Material Specialist in our Quality Assurance (QA) department, you will be an integral part of the QA team. You will have the opportunity to work across the spectrum of QA-related matters and to see what these entail within an international company like FrieslandCampina Domo.
Raw Material Specialist QA Job Requirements
Your Profile:
What we expect from you is an enterprising and proactive approach in order to tackle these important issues and/or optimize the existing situation. Your pragmatic way of working and your objectivity will ensure that others soon sit up and listen to what you have to say.
In addition to the experience and skills mentioned above, you also have:
- A degree (HBO level) in food technology, chemical technology or laboratory science
- Extensive experience of QA, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or purchasing
- Affinity with infant and toddler food is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
