The Opportunity
Job responsibilities
- Technical ownership on group of equipments.
- Lock-out/Tag-out procedures, risk assessments, technical safety improvements.
- Plan and realize 50% of all activities towards improved reliability.
- Troubleshooting support in critical situations.
- Provide technical support to obtain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) levels as per yearly roll-out.
- Establish and maintain PM (Project Management) plans.
- Improve Breakdown troubleshooting efficiency.
- Technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Handle obsolete parts.
- Improvement projects.
Process Technician (electrical) Job Requirements
To join our team you will need:
Education
- Bachelor degree (preference) or technician level with minimum 5 years experience in electrical engineering.
Languages - Fluency in English and French or in English and German is a must.
- Luxembourgish is an asset.
Experience - Experience in control (electrical) design is mandatory.
- Practical experience and knowledge of:
- PLC programming (Rockwell, Beckhoff,...).
- Variable Speed Drives.
- Fieldbus and networks, OSI model, TCP/IP Networking (Model OSI, DHCP...).
- Secure communication and data encryption, RFID.
- Knowledge of amongst other Linux, DB systems and any of Object Oriented languages like C#.
- Instrumentation (transmitters, analyzers, actuators, sensors).
- Experience in an industrial/technical environment is an asset.
IT, soft skills & others - Microsoft Office, CAD software for creating electrical plans.
- Strong interest in Technology.
- Apply innovative thinking and analysis skills to solve complex problems.
- Be able to assess situations and make sound decisions, able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Analytic approach to problem-solving and react positively to pressure.
- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills, team player.
- Flexible, stress resistant, open-minded, effective communicator and capable of creating trusting work relationships.
