Parts & Service Engineer
Cummins Emission Solutions has exciting role open for Parts & Service Engineer to join Cummins in Dordrecht, Netherlands. Reporting to the Parts and Service Manager - Europe you will be responsible to support all aftermarket activities for Cummins Emission Solutions for Cummins and Non-Cummins customers and for existing and new Diesel Engine emission After Treatment products as required.

Day to day activities will include:

• Support Cummins Emission Solutions (CES) Parts and Service functions for EMEA for the implementation of After Treatment systems
• Represent CES Parts and Service for After Treatment in the Engine Business Unit (EBU) processes. (Failure Incident Report Group [FIRG], Plant Quality Committee [PQC], etc.).
• Represent CES Parts and Service for external Value Package Introduction projects for non-Cummins customers.
• Be the CES Parts and Service representative in design reviews, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and hazard analysis meetings on After Treatment.
• Support the field test installation and monitoring of After Treatment systems as needed for Cummins and non-Cummins customers.
• Provide support for failure investigation and supplier interface for 7 step problem solving process.
• Participate in warranty audits of after treatment product claims as needed
• Assist in content development and review for After Treatment manuals/information for troubleshooting, maintenance, parts catalogues, service processes
• Provide and present training material for After Treatment systems for customers, distributors and EBU
• Develop tools necessary for diagnostics/testing/service events
• Support infant care of After Treatment systems in the field
• Be a technical contact for service procedures

Parts & Service Engineer Job Requirements

Desired skills and experience:

• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive engineering
• Working experience in manufacturing environment and familiar with problem solving techniques.
• Knowledge of electronics and computer aided automotive service tools.
• Able to manage projects.
• Exhaust systems knowledge desirable
• Communication, problem solving, ability to work in a team
• Able to work with all types of customers in an open and honest manner.
• Language skills: fluency in English is required, Dutch would be an advantage
