Project Manager - Telecommunications

You will be accountable for managing and coordinating projects leading to the development of a statewide telecommunications system. Your responsibilities include the development of project proposals, planning, decision-making and project fiscal management  
 
Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing all phases of project development to ensure user satisfaction, project continuity and internal consistency;
• Supervising and coordinating professional, technical, and non-technical staff by establishing performance measures, goals, objectives and priorities, providing direction and feedback, and ensuring assigned projects/tasks are completed accurately and by the specified due date. 
• Managing relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure equipment and services procured and installed meet requirements and specifications;
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. 
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Project Manager - Telecommunications Job Requirements

The Skills and Specifications 
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in large IT systems operations and development, preferably in the Telecommunications area. This position also requires critical thinking, planning and organizing, decision-making and problem solving skills.
 
Additional skills 
• Qualification in project management or equivalent
• Strong familiarity with project management software, programming languages, database and operating systems
• Operational analysis and decision-making techniques for resource allocation and organizational effectiveness
• Knowledge of Telecom market.
• Cross-border work experience within an international company
• Fluent in English; any additional main-stream language skills are advantageous.
• Must be willing to relocate to the Costa Brava area (Spain)
