Job description
IBA Dosimetry Physics Services provides customer services that enable the implementation of new Radiation Therapy (RT) technologies in clinics. With increasingly complex treatment machines and modalities clinical commissioning is a highly technical operation. Precise commissioning measurements, high quality customer training and consultancy are crucial to ensure accurate patient treatment, and many hospitals seek our service to support their radiation therapy teams and medical physicists.
As a Physics Service Physicist you will be a member of an international team of professionals who will provide physics services to our clinical customers with Proton and conventional radiotherapy facilities worldwide. As an experienced user in the field of accelerators, treatment planning and/or dosimetry, you will ensure the commissioning of a variety of different treatment and planning systems worldwide. You will advise and train customer as well as using our equipment to perform the complete portfolio of activities necessary to take radiotherapy systems into clinical operation.
Profile
To be success full in this position you will need:
• Bachelor or Master in Physics, preferably Medical Physics
• Experience in Radiotherapy or commissioning
• Know how in Proton Therapy is an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Customer orientation
• Good communication skills
• Like to travel, to meet new people and different cultures
