Description:
Ecolab is looking for a Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for CEE, based in Hungary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Ecolab's Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and programmes within the CEE region
- Provide monthly management reports
- Record and investigate incidents and injuries
- Issue safety communications
- Deliver Ecolab/ Nalco Safety Training Programmes
- Select training providers
- Develop new training programmes
- Carry out ECAP audits
- Support country ISO certification programmes
- Develop safety policies and maintain in SECONDS
- Ensure country generic risk assessments are in place
- Co-ordinate country industrial hygiene programmes
- Complete customer pre-qualification questionnaires
- Support country teams' legislation reviews
- Support the local responsible and liable company manager in related business affairs
- Task Risk Assessment Management (assessing safety risk)
- Provide relevant safety information in regular meetings and through database
- Deliver SOS refresher training
- Conduct / Coordinate NCAP audits in Austria/ Eastern Europe
- Support the collection of SH&E Metrics
Safety, Health and Environmental Manager - CEE Job Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Expertise in safety programme implementation (audits, trainings, risk assessment, 18001….)
- German and English languages (other Eastern European languages would be an advantage)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint)
- Able to travel freely in CEE region and EMEA
- Able to influence from General Sales Manager level down through to all levels in the organisation
- Able to work without close supervision
- Able to demonstrate a record of successful devleopment of safety management systems
- Able to demonstrate personal involvement in safety programmes that have led to workplace injury and vehicle accident reductions
