Process Engineer - Optimisation Job Description

Our Optimisation department, which is part of the overall Operations organisation, is looking for process engineers to join our refinery. The successful candidate will play a lead role in delivering BP Refinery Rotterdam’s targets;

• Work with Operations personnel to meet our optimised production plan,
• Act as primary interface between Operations and Maintenance to align between the teams ensuring commercial income, operational excellence, safety practices and availability of our process units,
• Ensuring rigorous process engineering skills are applied while troubleshooting plant operations, as well as unit health monitoring.
• Identifies business opportunities and develop action plans playing a leading role in implementation. 

Process Engineer - Optimisation Job Requirements

• Master or equivalent in Chemical Engineering,
• Evidence of potential for future development,
• The ability to work cooperatively with others,
• Demonstrated communication skills (preferred: both Dutch and English).
• This position is focused towards refinery operations therefore a strong technical background in Refining and Process Engineering is preferred.
