Product Design Engineer Controls (mechanical) (f/m)
General:
- Fulfill mechanical engineering tasks for complex purchased items within a specific system package in close cooperation with other department members
Central Tasks: - Personal responsibility to define requirements of components, sub - assemblies and assemblies in accordance to specification requirements, schedule and costs
- Prepare purchasing specifications for purchased items
- Personal responsibility to define and clarify interfaces in close cooperation with colleagues and suppliers
- Check and if necessary release designs from other colleagues following appropriate instructions
- Review client specifications and support tender activities
- Design and revision control of engineering documentation considering appropriate instructions
- Perform design reviews – internal as well as with clients
- Develop test programs (FATs) for manufactured equipment and purchased parts in close cooperation with suppliers
- Prepare engineering documentation like Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Installation Procedures, Preservation Procedures in close cooperation with suppliers
- Provide and administer drawings and bill of materials
- Special tasks for the Engineering Product Manager (EPM)
- Support colleagues in the company (also internationally) in case of questions and problems
- Ensure Cameron Engineering Procedures and Cameron Engineering Plant Manuals are followed within daily work
- Support Operations and Aftermarket

Qualifications:
- Education in mechanical engineering (university)
- Knowledge, abilities and experience in the job as a mechanical Engineer including national and international procedures
- Good English
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team
- Willing to decide on his own and take responsibility for actions
- Conviction, self-motivation and being prepared to travel
