Your daily activities:
The Offshore Technical Inspector will be assigned to the asset: Logistics, Tugs & Barges. This department controls and assigns all the own and hired floating and non-floating equipment required by all assets to complete the projects and activities. This also includes all the logistics involved to guaranty timely delivery of the equipment at the location required. It also controls the security necessary for all floating assets to guarantee a safe working condition of all the HMC personnel assigned to these assets. The main responsibility of the Offshore Technical Inspector is to manage all ballasting operating on- and offshore, to advise on the status of the tugs and barges and to ensure safety and seaworthiness of barges with respect to towing equipment. The Offshore Technical Inspector we are looking for has experience with heavy lifting, abnormal loads and load inspection. He has a hands-on mentality, has the skills to communicate at different levels and can cope with continuously changing circumstances.
Your other tasks are:
Asset Management Department
The Asset Management department is responsible for the operational management of the fleet and her crew. Together with the crew and Project Management, the Asset Management Department ensures a perfect preparation and execution of HMC's projects. To ensure optimum utilization of the fleet and her crew the department works closely together with all Asset related departments, H&R and Sales & Business Development and directs the planning of each vessel, mobilizes personnel and equipment in time for project execution.
