Job Mission
Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires concurrent engineering by all disciplines. The Project Manager New Product Logistics fulfills this need by bridging the gap between new product development and supply chain volume operations.
Job Description
As Project manager New Product Logistics, you’ll make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining and managing the logistics project plan of new products, its risks, introduction strategies and requirements at product level. You manage associated detailed logistics supply chain plans including the timely order & delivery of materials, critical path management and release-for-ramp. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills and you’ll guide and coordinate your team of up to 25 planners.
Main responsibilities:
• Define and manage the logistics plans (project plan, product plans, detailed demand & supply plans) and deliverables based on the development master plan until release for volume in the factory and the field
• For new products, make and maintain agreements on product material master plan, critical system modules, strategic suppliers, order strategies, material availability and inventory
• Plan & mobilize resources of the cross-sector project team with up to 50 team members to fulfill the plans
• Identify bottle necks and take actions towards engineering, supply chain, customer support to manage the critical path and drive material availability
• Represent logistics towards other departments, such as Product Development, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service.

The Manufacturing & Logistics (M&L) organization states the following mission: plan, develop and maintain a global network of qualified suppliers and factories, which is capable of delivering lithographic systems, related products and services that exceed customer expectations regarding quality, lead time, technology and cost.
Within the ML& sector the Global Logistics Services (GLS) organization is responsible for all Logistics activities from and to our customers, factories and suppliers. The department New Product Logistics supports the Development & Engineering sector by managing the interface to product development programs to achieve logistics introduction of new products in factories and at worldwide customer locations according to agreed plans.
Education
MSc (industrial) engineering
Experience
• Proven project management skills.
• 2-5 yrs experience in new product introductions in supply chain or production in high-tech, low-volume environments.
Personal skills
• Excellent professional communication in English. Dutch preferred
• Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure
• Coaching direct project team members
• Result oriented, convincing
