Lamp Systems Engineer Job Description

Lamp Systems Engineer m/f For Light Performance Analysis & Improvement

Work scope:

• Define light performance for headlamps and rear lamps for new serial development vehicles and for development of new optical design by:
• Analyzing the engineering structure of the lamp system (Compare to other competitors)
• Organizing & following-up real tests (outsourced)
• Simulating light performance & rendering (Program SPEOS: initial training would be planned in case of no experience with it)
• Submit detailed light performance analysis in the requested format and timely manner
• Discuss output results with co-work department in HMETC and in Korea
• Identify new technology trends and develop new optical systems
• Set-up capability to verify visual appearance of the light system
• Set-up project including targets setting, timeframe and budget
• Follow-up and monitor project progress to guaranty completion on time and according to targets and budget

Lamp Systems Engineer Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Optical/Mechanical engineer with minimum two years professional experience
• Lighting development experience at OEM or Tier1
• Good skills in optical design
• Good skills in CATIA
• Experience in light performance simulation would be an asset
• Good reporting skills
• Fluent English
