Job description
As an PLC Engineer you will design control systems and solutions. This includes development of specifications, device layout drawings, control schematics, PLC logic and implement solutions. You are able to Create a control sequence of operation document to ensure that the design meets the customer’s expectations.  You Prepare schematics and specifications for control panel fabrication and provide the right documentation and support to the operating team.  You will Create PLC programs and implement solutions in cooperation with the Software Engineering team to integrate control solutions. Also you perform on-site commissioning to implement and validate the system design.

PLC / Electrical Engineer Job Requirements

Experience

For the position of PLC / Electrical Engineer, we are looking for candidates who have:   

• a completed vocational / college or university level education in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics
• work experience in an Electro-technical, automotive or high tech environment. Yet starters are also very welcome.
• knowledge and experience with the preparation of functional designs
• knowledge and experience with the programming of systems such as PLC and Scada systems, for example Simatic 5/7
• knowledge and experience in Industrial Automation
• knowledge of the Dutch, English and (possibly) German language
• in possession of a driver’s license (level B)
