Mission : We are currently recruiting Junior and Senior CATIA Design Engineers for both Primary Structure and Mechanical/Electrical Systems for the Aerospace industry to be based in Bristol.
The successful design engineer will be working on new projects using to the latest versions of CATIA such as V5 and V6 for the design, development and production stages for wing related aerospace projects.
The key responsibilities for those roles will include:
• Developing and managing key sets of requirements in a design environment.
• Providing solutions to meet airworthiness standards and design approvals.
• Developing technical solutions that are compliant with all relevant aviation requirements, and are within agreed timescales and manufacturing constraints.
• Working with design teams to create detail and assembly drawings.
Profile : The ideal design engineer should have the following skills and experience:
• Strong background in aerospace engineering.
• Experience in designing and developing Mechanical Systems components.
• Experience in designing and developing Electrical Systems components.
• Experience in designing and developing structures.
• Strong working knowledge of CATIA V5.
• Degree in, Manufacturing, Systems or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Design Engineer preferably with experience in an Aerospace environment, minimum 2 years experience ideally within Primary Structure, Mechanical/Electrical Systems design, significant experience of CATIA V5.
Education level : 3 university years degree
