Senior Engineer m/f Seat Comfort Job Description

Join our department Engineering Design and gain speed as Senior CAE Engineer m/f Seat Comfort.

Work scope:

• CAE analyses of seats and components regarding comfort and ergodynamics
• Definition of project scopes and contents
• Seat clinic evaluation
• Load case development and definition
• Assessment of seat comfort analyses
• Optimization of seat and component performance
• Comparison and validation of CAE analyses against test and seat clinic results
• Coordination and steering of European supplier CAE activities
• Close co-work with R&D center in Namyang, Korea

Senior Engineer m/f Seat Comfort Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience in CAE analyses regarding seat comfort and ergodynamics with at least five years at OEM or tier-1 level, covering system and part development from concept to SoP
• Thorough understanding of seats, comfort and ergodynamics
• Knowledge of legislation of vehicle and consumer requirements
• Application of optimization techniques (DFSS/DoE)
• Software skills: CATIA V5, PAM-COMFORT, RAMSIS
• Willingness to work in a multicultural project team
• Good command of English language
